Art opens eyes!

I was on a vernissage yesterday where pictures from my school are featured.
The principal of my school gave a speech and talked about art and how important it is for us teens to discover our self.

The main phrase of his speech was
"Art opens eyes!"
and I think this is one of the best things I have ever heard! Every day when I am here at deviantART I get the chance to plunge into another world and to discover secrets only an artist can show. But sadly there aren't enough humans in our dull society that understand this - artists are dreamers - and dreaming is what makes our life worth living!

I can't imagine how joyless my live would be without art and I'm pretty sure without my creativity I wouldn't be the same human as I am right now ...
